The Commonwealth reserves the right to conduct any test/inspection it may deem advisable to assure goods and services conform to the specifications. This purpose and intent of this solicitation is to establish a term contract with one qualified Contractor to provide Quarterly Preventative Maintenance and Emergency Service and repairs at the State Farm Milk Processing Plant to include but not limited to: Cream Chiller, Hot Water Pallet for heat exchanger, Pasteurizer, Pumps, Back Flow Preventers, Steam Components, A/C, Cold Box Refrigeration Please have a copy of the solicitation available prior to the start of the conference. All questions submitted via email, as well as any changes resulting from this conference, which will be issued in a written addendum to the solicitation, will be publicly posted on online. The deadline for pre-registration is 8-27-24 no later than 4:00 p.m., EST. AWARD: The Commonwealth will make the award(s) on GRAND TOTAL basis to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. The purchasing office reserves the right to conduct any test it may deem advisable and to make all evaluations. The Commonwealth also reserves the right to reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, to waive informalities and to delete items prior to making the award, whenever it is deemed in the sole opinion of the procuring public body to be in its best interest. Event Site visit note: Due to the importance of all Bidders having a clear understanding of the specifications/scope of work and requirements of this solicitation, attendance at this site visit will be a prerequisite for submitting a bid. Bids will only be accepted from those Bidders who are represented at this Site visit conference. Verification of attendance will be documented by the Procurement Officer from the information submitted by the vendor (name of representative and company) via the Google chat box immediately after joining the meeting. Those will be able to join by phoning in to the meeting. A final verbal attendance roll call will be conducted at (enter time that is 10 minutes after meeting start time), EST. No one will be allowed to join the meeting after (enter time that is 10 minutes after meeting start time), EST. There will be no exceptions for technical errors. The Commonwealth may make such reasonable investigations as deemed proper and necessary to determine the ability of the (bidder to perform the services/furnish the goods and the (bidder) shall furnish to the Commonwealth all such information and data for this purpose as may be requested. The Commonwealth reserves the right to inspect (bidder's) physical facilities prior to award to satisfy questions regarding the (bidder's) capabilities. The Commonwealth further reserves the right to reject any (bid) if the evidence submitted by, or investigations of, such (bidder) fails to satisfy the Commonwealth that such (bidder) is properly qualified to carry out the obligations of the contract and to provide the services and/or furnish the goods contemplated therein.
