August 13, 2024, 5:00 PM, Pacific Time PROJECT UNDERSTANDING This project will provide facilities for pedestrians to safely travel along Welches Road, including potential for a sidewalk through the commercial area near US Highway 26 transitioning into an 8-foot-wide multi-use path. Project Limits: The intersection of US Highway 26 to Birdie Lane. Lane Configuration and Geometry: An 8-foot-wide multi-use pathway generally separated from the roadway. Stormwater Management: Best Management Practices (BMP's) and Low Impact Development Approaches (LIDA) to be utilized per Water Environment Services (WES) design standards as adopted and modified by Clackamas County Department of Transportation and Development. Generally located between the road and the pathway. Franchise Utilities: Relocate overhead as necessary, relocate for utility conflicts by utilities. SUMMARY OF WORK Project management, survey, environmental and stormwater/hydraulic services, utility coordination, geotechnical, traffic engineering, public outreach, and the development of both preliminary design criteria and final PS&E (Plans, Specifications and Estimates) design, right-of-way services, and bid assistance up through bid award for this project based on the scope of services described herein.
