This work shall include furnishing all labor, material and equipment to complete the project. Work includes property owner notification, traffic control, surface preparation, sealcoating, type II and type III slurry sealing, protection of utilities, pavement markings and cleanup on various City streets for an estimated amount of 329,930 square yards. The work also includes approximately 8,500 SF of pavement patching prior to sealing operations at various locations as marked in the field by the Designated City Project Representative. Late proposals will not be considered for any reason. All work including deficiency list items must be completed within ninety (90) calendar days after the date of the Notice to Proceed by the Owner. The Contractor shall provide a one-year warranty for the scope of work performed in this contract. The one-year warranty shall be from the date of the Notice of Completion. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check or bid bond in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid price, payable to the City of Boulder City as a guarantee that the bidder, if his proposal is accepted, will enter into a contract within fifteen (15) calendar days after receipt of the contract from the Owner. A copy of the bidder's proposal guarantee shall be uploaded as an additional document utilizing the Nevada Government. The bidder is responsible to deliver the proposal guarantee to the Owner by the first business day, usually a Monday, after the proposal opening date. Any certified or cashier's checks or bid bonds shall be delivered to the Office of the City Clerk, City of Boulder City, 401 California Avenue, Boulder City, Nevada 89005. In case of refusal or failure to enter into said contract, the check or bid bond, as the case may be, shall be forfeited to the Owner. If the bidder elects to furnish a bid bond as his proposal guarantee, he shall use the bid bond form bound herein, or one conforming substantially to it in form. If applicable, bidders shall provide documentation to meet requirements of NRS 338.147 as part of their bid proposal. Workman's Compensation Insurance, Faithful Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total bid price, a Labor and Material Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total bid price, and a Guarantee Bond will be executed as part of the contract agreement.
