The location and description of the proposed work are as follows: The proposed project is located in La Paz County on SR 95 between mileposts 109.05 and 116.00, near Quartzsite. The work consists of removing the existing asphaltic concrete surface course by milling and replacing it with new asphaltic concrete. The work also includes placing hot applied chip seal coat, replacing guardrail and guardrail end terminals, constructing drainage facilities, installing pipe liners, replacing pavement markings, and other related work. The time allowed for the completion of the work included in this contract will be 190 working days. A proposal guaranty in the form of either a certified or a cashier's check made payable to the State Treasurer of Arizona for not less than 10 percent of the amount of the bid or in the form of a surety (bid) bond for 10 percent of the amount of the bid shall accompany the proposal. Surety (bid) bonds will be accepted only on the form provided by the Department and only from corporate sureties authorized to do business in Arizona.
