As of September 20,2024, project was awarded to ECSC, LLC, awarded amount is $3,674,240.69. US 331 SOUTH SEWER EXPANSION The project includes the construction of 2.65 miles of 10-inch sewer force main and one sewer liftstation within the US 331 south bound FDOT ROW between intersections with Angler Drive andCR-3280 and ~600-ft of 10-inch PVC sewer force main and one sewer lift station along CR-3280just to the east of US 331. Project will be funded by the City of Freeport using city funds. The Cityof Freeport encourages women owned and minority owned businesses to submit bids on the project. The last day for questions will be 5:00pm (CST) on Tuesday, July 16th, 2024.Point of Contact will be Brody Blow, Dewberry at 877 North County Hwy 393, Santa Rosa Beach,FL 32459, by phone at 850.571.1250, or by e-mail at bblow@dewberry.com. A Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the Bid shall accompany the Bid. The City of Freeport (City)reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The City also reserves the right to reject contractors whoin the Citys opinion are not qualified to perform the work based on the pre-qualification package. All Bids shall be firm for a period of 90 days after opening. This includes material prices. The bidmust conform to Section 287.133(3) Florida Statutes, on public entity crimes. All bidders shall comply with all applicable state, federal, and local laws concerning licensing,registration, and regulations of contractors doing business in Florida. The City shall award thecontract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder; provided however, the City reserves the right to award the contract to a bidder who is not the lowest responsive and responsible bidder if theCity determines in its reasonable discretion that another bid offers the City a better value based uponthe reliability, quality of service, or product of such other bidder.
