Reference Number 0000351694 *Contract 3A: General Construction Onondaga County Aquarium-Phase 2, Contracts 3A-3D The project includes four prime contracts as designated herein and the project scope includes the construction of a public aquarium building, exhibit construction, site work, utilities, electrical work, control systems, heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems, and plumbing work as more specifically defined in the Contract Documents. Bidders are informed that this project is being progressed by the Onondaga County Dept. of Facilities Management. This project will be subject to NYS prevailing wage. Contractor to provide the following: MWBE Utilization plan, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Policy Statement, Workforce Employment Utilization Report, Apprenticeship Program, and Minority and Women Business Enterprise Utilization Goals: MBE Utilization Goal of 18% and WBE Utilization Goal of 12%. Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % -- Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Security Deposit in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. Bid security must be in the form of a bid bond or certified/ bank check, made payable to The County of Onondaga. Bids with inadequate bid security will be declared informal.
