This project consists of providing all labor, equipment, material, and supplies to remove the existing heat pump and install a new heat pump. The 8.5-ton heat pump is at the Sierra Vista Library, 2600 East Tacoma St., Sierra Vista AZ 85635. The Contractor shall obtain all required City permits before any work is started. This Project will consist of: Site visit to evaluate the current system configuration to determine the best replacement option. Removal and disposal of old units according to state and local requirements. Installation of a new unit. (contractor shall supply crane for installation). The contractor shall install and connect the new unit per the manufacturers specifications. The contractor shall tie into existing electrical, condensate, and supply and return. If any modifications to the electrical, condensate, supply, and return need to be made, the contractor/installers shall make the modifications. Purchase a new heat pump (Carrier or Trane manufacturer) to replace the existing heat pump. The contractor shall supply a specification sheet of the make/model they are proposing. Final inspection and startup. Connecting of utilities: The contractor shall run all required utilities to the new unit. All utility installations shall meet the city, state, and national codes and requirements. Inspection: Upon completion of the installation, the Contractor shall coordinate with the City Facilities Staff and City Building Inspection Staff for a final inspection. The contractor shall maintain a safe work zone for pedestrians and vehicles. Question Deadline 01/10/2024 at 5:00 PM MT
