DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The work includes the construction of approximately: 1 EA Sanitary Sewer 4' x 8" CIPP Short Liner 6 EA Seal 4' Dia Manhole Joint 250 LF Remove and Replace Storm Sewer (12" to 18" Dia) 1,050 LF 6" PVC Drainpipe for Sump Drain 54,000 SY Remove Bituminous Street Pavement 10,000 SY Full Depth Reclamation 2,600 CY Common Excavation 1,800 TN Aggregate Base, Class 5 11,000 LF Remove and Replace Concrete Curb and Gutter 17,000 TN Bituminous Mixture for Streets 6,500 SY Restoration (Seed/Hydraulic Matrix, Topsoil/Compost Mix) 275 SY Turf Reinforcement Mat, Category 70 together with numerous related items of work, all in accordance with Plans and Specifications. The City of Woodbury has adopted a standard document entitled "Standard Project Manual for Utility and Street Construction", dated January 1, 2024, which includes the Procurement and Contracting Requirements and Specifications which are hereby incorporated into the Bidding Documents. BID SECURITY: A proposal bond in the amount of not less than 5 percent of the total amount bid, drawn in favor of City of Woodbury shall accompany each bid. OWNER'S RIGHTS RESERVED: The Owner reserves the right to retain the deposits of the 3 lowest Bidders for a period not to exceed 60 days after the date and time set for the Opening of Bids. No Bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the date and time set for the Opening Bids. OWNER'S RIGHTS RESERVED: The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities and informalities therein and to award the Contract to other than the lowest bidder if, in their discretion, the interest of the Owner would be best served thereby.
