The City of Manitou Springs is seeking qualified contractors to organize the fabrication and installation of street signs along Manitou Avenue in Manitou Springs, Colorado. The exact signs identified for replacement are mapped in the attached documents. The design and sign specifications are also described in the attached documents. For missing or unclear specifications, please reach out to the contact person for the design intent. The City of Manitou Springs is also interested if a contractor has a preferred alternative to what is described in the attached documents. Any Bid received as a result of this request is prepared at the Bidder's expense and becomes City property and is therefore a public record upon opening by the City. No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the deadline for Bids. Deadline to present questions deadline is Friday, December 29, 2023 at 4:00 PM. Questions are to be emailed to the contact person Final Addendum (responses to questions) to be published on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 The City requires the project to be completed within 120 days. Please provide an estimate for the cost of replacing one sign to the attached spec. This may affect how many signs are replaced. The City of Manitou Springs has approximately $150,000 for this project. The City reserves the right, if it deems such action to be in its best interests, to reject any and all Bids or to waive any irregularities or informalities therein. Any incomplete, false, or misleading information provided by any Bidder shall be grounds for rejection of the Bid. If Bids are rejected, the City further reserves the right to investigate and accept the next best Bid in order of ranking, or to reject all Bids and re-solicit for additional Bids.
