Malvern Public Library 2023 LED Lighting Project. Installation of LED retrofit kits in approximately seventy-eight (78) existing ballasts in the Malvern Public Library and the installation of new pendant fixtures above the Library's Circulation Desk and in its Reading Room. The project is subject to prevailing wage. Prevailing wage project rates issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry shall be required. The project is being financed in part through a grant with the Office of Commonwealth Libraries, Department of Education, with funds provided from the Keystone Recreation, Park and Conservation Fund. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a performance bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total bid price. Proposals shall bear the words "Bid for the Malvern Public Library 2023 LED Lighting Project" clearly indicated on the lower left-hand corner of the face of the sealed envelope. Proposals must be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid price. Said amount shall be retained by the Borough as liquidated damages if the successful bidder shall fail to execute the contract and provide a performance bond as required. The Borough Council of the Borough of Malvern reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any manner in which the Borough Council, at its sole discretion, believes, constitutes an informality, and to award the bid or bids in accordance with the best interests of the Borough of Malvern
