The scope of work shall include the specified repair and replacement of the Tillman Ridge Transfer Station tipping floor, along with repair and/or replacement of the steel plate armor for both the hopper opening and side trench drains. The projects construction will require replacement of two (2) structural slab sections, approximately 625 and 820 square feet in area. This slab replacement shall include restoration of any disturbed subgrade. Additionally, at approximately 8,000 square feet, the entire upper topping slab shall be replaced and graded to drain per original design. Located at the front of the transfer station, a 95-foot concrete speed table addition is necessary to contain solid waste within the transfer station and direct the flow of liquids into the side drains, for collection and disposal. The projects entirety shall be completed in a manner that the transfer station is closed for a total of twenty-one (21) operating days. Bidders must obtain and review the Bid Documents, including all Attachments and Exhibits, as well as any issued addenda, for full details and instructions regarding submittal format, full scope of services, minimum qualifications and all other information related to this Bid. Any and all questions related to this project shall be directed, in writing, to the Designated Point of Contact. Questions are due no later than Four o'clock (4:00PM) EST on Monday, December 11, 2023
