In general, the project consists of various improvements throughout the Downtown Area in the City of Marinette. The improvements include but are not limited to approximately 13,600 SY of 8-Inch concrete pavement including construction of a compact roundabout, 35,300 SF of concrete sidewalk, 7,750 LF of curb and gutter, 1,850 LF of water main, 1,685 LF of sanitary sewer, 2,225 LF of storm sewer, roadway excavation, various traffic signal and electrical improvements, railroad crossing removal and replacement, street lighting, pavement marking, landscaping, construction and grading of a roadway spoil disposal site, and associated work. Stage 1 work - Ludington Street, from Mann Street to Stanton Street (STA 115+50 to 133+00) on or before July 19, 2024. Stage 2 work - Wells Street (STA 201+00 to 204+85) and Ludington Street, from USH 41/Hall Ave to Mann Street (STA 100+10 to 115+50) on or before October 25, 2024. This project will be partially funded with Federal funds from the United States Department of Commerce, Economic Development Administration and therefore is subject to the Federal laws and regulations associated with that program. This project will be partially funded with WisDOT funds from a Transportation Economic Assistance (TEA) grant and is subject to State and Federal laws and regulations associated with that program.
