No oral, fax, mailed, dropped off or emailed Bids shall be submitted. No allowance will be made for late delivery for any reason. The following bid categories are included in this project: o 02 3000 Demolition o 04 2000 Masonry o 06 1000 General Trades o 23 0000 Mechanical (including plumbing & controls) o 26 0000 Electrical (including technology) Bids shall be submitted electronically into Building Connected. Bid security by a quality surety in the form of a bid bond, cashier check, or certified check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid/Quote/Proposal amount shall be submitted with the Bid. All cashier's checks must be scanned and submitted electronically through Building Connected. The district will not consider a Bid that does not include a bid security. Bidders will be permitted to withdraw their Bid, unopened, after it has been submitted if so requested prior to the time specified above for opening of Bid. The successful bidder shall be required to enterinto a contract with South Lyon Community Schools. The successful bidder shall pay all taxes required by law. Bidders must provide familial disclosure in compliance with MCL 380.1267 and submit this with their Bid. The Bid will be accompanied by a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship that exists between the owner or any employee of the bidder, and any member of the Board of Education of the school district, or the Superintendent of the school district. The district will not consider a Bid that does not include this sworn and notarized disclosure statement. Each Bid must be accompanied by a sworn and notarized statement certifying that the Bidder is not an "Iran Linked Business" within the meaning of the Iran Economic Sanctions Act. The district will not consider a Bid that does not include this sworn and notarized statement. The right to reject any or all Bids, either in whole or in part, or to waive any informalities or irregularities therein, is reserved by South Lyon Community Schools. The Board of Education will not consider or accept a Bid received by the Board after the date and time specified for receipt of Bid.
