The City of Laconia Public Works Department seeks proposals from qualified contractors for the Design and Installation of Lighting Downtown. To improve the lighting on the riverside of the City Hall parking lot and Riverwalk. This section of the project is from the rear of City Hall to Church Street. Also improving the lighting on the Southern side of the City Hall parking lot and brick walkway between City Hall and the Belknap Mill. The City of Laconia reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals or any part thereof, to waive any formality in the process, and to accept the proposal considered to be in the best interest of the City. The City may cancel this proposal request at any time for any reason. Failure to submit all information called for may be sufficient grounds for disqualification. When a construction or service contract is awarded in excess of $25,000 performance and payment bonds, satisfactory to the City and executed by a surety company authorized to do business in New Hampshire, are required in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the price specified in the contract for the full term of the contract.
