The project involves carrying out all work in accordance with the contract documents. Without limitation, the scope of the work includes the partial demolition of walls and partitions, fungal and asbestos decontamination, repair of interior finishes, replacement of interior doors in the six dwellings, the basement and in the shaft. internal common staircase; renovation of bathrooms and kitchens; replacement of kitchen hoods, ventilation of bathrooms; the addition of a centralized ventilation system for housing and common areas; repair of the roof. The project also includes replacing the electrical entrance. A power request has been made to Hydro Quebec, the building connection date is March 20, 2024. The declaration of work and the DADT form must be sent at a convenient time by the electricity subcontractor to Hydro Quebec, Technical Services Montreal East. The work will be carried out in a three (3) storey building comprising six (6) housing units intended for families (4x4 bedroom and 2x5 bedroom). The wooden building was built in 1977. The envelope is made of brick and the roof is made of an elastomeric membrane redone in 2022. During the work, the accommodation(s) will be vacant. WORKS DURATION According to current planning, it is expected that the work will begin around February 15, 2024. The contractor must consider that the work could begin 3 months after signing the contract (the tenants' moving time). This date could be modified by the OMHM. In such a case, the modification cannot be used to justify an extra request from the successful bidder.
