Well Modifications Description: Contracts consist of work related to the Interior, Exterior Renovation, and Miscellaneous Improvements of the Danada House Required Completion Date :Project Completion November of 2024 Bidders must file a Prequalification Statement and a Financial Statement along with the following information with Featherstone, Inc. before the bid opening date in conformance with the instructions set forth in the Information for Bidders. 1.Contractors Qualification Statement, AIA Document A305, 2020 Edition 2.A statement regarding the bidders previous experience in performing comparable work including a current list with a minimum of five Owner references for similar projects you have completed within the last twelve months and include the owner, contact name, and telephone number, and a detailed description of the project including the scope of work. 3.A current Financial Balance Sheet and Income Statement All contracts and subcontracts for this Project will be subject to the provisions of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act(820 ILCS 130/0.01 et seq.), providing for the payment of the prevailing rate of wage to all laborers, workmen and mechanics engaged in the Work. A 10% bid bond is required. The Forest Preserve District of DuPage County here by notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure, that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. Contractor agrees to be bound to the terms of it bid for a period of Sixty (60) calendar days after the Bid Opening Date. The Forest Preserve District of DuPage County reserves the right to award contracts to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, to reject any and all bids, and to waive any irregularities in bidding. Bids received after the due date and time will be rejected. All such questions shall be submitted no later than 12:00 p.m. Friday, November 10, 2023. The project manager, to the best of his abilities, shall answer such questions in writing and provide a copy of the written questions and answers to all interested bidders via email. Neither the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County nor the design consultants shall not be directly contacted. If contracts are awarded, the successful bidder will be required to post performance, labor, and material payment bonds. In addition, the successful bidder will be required to comply with all applicable laws, including, as mentioned above, the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County Ordinance No. 22-132 including the Prevailing Wage Act as well as the Illinois Human Rights Act. The successful bidder will execute contracts directly with the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County.
