Waterous Pacer Hydrants SCOPE DuPage County Public Works is seeking a Contractor to furnish and deliver four (4) Waterous Pacer Hydrants. No substitutions of equal quality products shall be accepted. DESCRIPTION The following items are to be provided as part of the contract: o Yellow 5-1/4" Waterous Pacer hydrant 6' bury flanged by mechanical joint with valve attached o Red 5-1/4" Waterous Pacer hydrant 6' bury flanged by mechanical joint with valve attached o Yellow 5-1/4" Waterous Pacer hydrant 5'6" bury flanged by mechanical joint with valve attached o Red 5-1/4" Waterous Pacer hydrant 5'6" bury flanged by mechanical joint with valve attached DELIVERY Delivery shall be F.O.B. Destination to the DuPage County Public Works Underground Maintenance, 17W440 N. Frontage, Darien, IL 60561. We wish to encourage your continued participation in DuPage County's procurement process, as this will continue to ensure the County taxpayers that they are receiving the maximum value for their tax dollars. The County of DuPage reserves the right to reject any or all bids received and waive any and all technicalities. CONTRACT TERM PERIOD: The contract shall be for a one (1) time purchase. RESERVATION OF RIGHTS: The DuPage County reserves the right to reject any or all quotes failing to meet the specifications or requirements and to waive technicalities. If in the County's opinion, the lowest quote is not the most responsible quote, considering value received for monies expended, the right is reserved to make awards as determined solely by the judgment of the County. In determining the lowest responsible Quote Provider, the County shall take into consideration the qualities of the articles supplied, their conformity with the specifications, and their suitability to the requirements of the County and the delivery terms. Intangible factors, such as the Quote Provider's reputation and past performance, will also be weighed.
