Summary of work: Selective building demolition includes, but is not limited to, gas furnaces, water tank and water heaters, kitchen hood, windows, cement asbestos siding, doors, flooring and concrete floor slab. Building remodel includes a wheelchair lift, resilient flooring, painting, siding, fiberglass storefront windows and doors. Site: work includes new roof drain lines, replacement of damaged asphalt paving, pole lights, trees, new pavement striping, concrete pads and benches. The project site is located within the Tacoma Smelter Plume with sampled arsenic concentrations over 50 ppm. All excavated soils require remediation. Estimated construction cost: $2,500,000. We will review the scope of the work and the documents and provide site specific information applicable to the project. Attendance to this walk-through is strongly suggested.
