Question Deadline 11/16/2023 at 12:00 PM ET All answers to questions of substance will be publicly published via the Countys eProcurement Portal, Question & Answer feature Specific project elements (Exhibit drawings and photos are included for reference): Aquarium to be constructed of flat rectangular acrylic sections and fiberglass of appropriate and industry standard thickness. Acrylic dimensions with approximate dimensions of 84 inches long x 60 inches wide x 37 inches high, and approximately 685-gallon capacity. An acrylic angled lip around the front of the exhibit should match the existing mangrove exhibit to prevent fish from jumping out. Interior insert to consist of natural looking shelves/wells to support live mangroves and marsh grasses, sloping shoreline section, seawall section and a section to mimic a living shoreline habitat. All external connections, including plumbing, lighting, Life Support Systems, electrical, and HVAC to be completed by MSC staff. The County Council has adopted policies, which assure and encourage the full participation of Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) in the provision of goods and services. The County encourages joint ventures between majority-owned firms and qualified disadvantaged / minority / women-owned firms.
