All work shall be done according to plans and specifications prepared by Alday-Howell Engineering and Donofro Architects. Plans are on file and open to inspection in the office of the Prime Service Consultant, Alday-Howell Engineering, 3017 Highway 71, Marianna, Florida. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or a cashier's check, made payable to the Washington County Board of County Commissioners, Chipley, Florida in the sum of 5% of the base bid as a guarantee and with an agreement that the bidder will not revoke or cancel his bid or withdraw from the competition for a period of thirty (30) days after the opening of bids, and that in the event the contract is awarded to the bidder, he will within ten (10) consecutive days after it is submitted, enter into written contract with the Washington County Board of County Commissioners in accordance with the accepted bid. The cost of the bond will be included as part of the bidders base-bid proposal. The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities in any bid, and to reject any or all bids, or to accept any bid and any combination of alternates or separate bid prices that, in theirjudgement, will be to the best interest of Washington County Board of County Commissioners. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
