Contract awarding is scheduled for Monday, November 20, 2023 during the Borough Council Regular Meeting. This Contract includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and work required to complete the following work: Project Work Description:The Borough of Oakmont Library is soliciting bids to perform a complete DDC Controls System Replacement. Proposals must be submitted in the form provided in the bid documents and must be sealed with proper identification of subject bid on the outside of the envelope. Work under the aforementioned Contract is subject to the requirements and of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act (1961 August 15, PL 987;P.S.165) and subsequent amendments and the Public Works Verification Act (Act 127 of 2012) and subsequent amendments. All bids must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid. Performance Bond will be set at ten percent (10%) with Certificate of Insurance furnished as specified in Instructions to Bidders. Oakmont Borough Council is an equal opportunity employer and reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any defects or irregularities in the best interest of the Borough.
