Install, operate, and maintain a redundant temporary pump station control panel to bypass control of the existing panel during construction. b. Strip and recoat the exterior of the station down to 1 feet below grade, (backfill after coating has cured). Remove the lid on the access tube, shop sand blast and paint. Repair fiberglass lining at the base of the pump station. c. Demo and replace existing pump station control panel. Each pump to have VFD and soft start backup. Panel to include cellular communication, antenna, manual transfer switch, and generator receptacle. Washington Ave. Pump Station Rehabilitation - General Construction A certified check payable to the Borough of Oakmont or a bid bond on the bid form executed by the Bidder and a surety company approved by the Owner, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid, shall be submitted with each bid, to guarantee the Bidder's entrance into a contract if given the award. No bid bond shall be waived or returned because the Bidder has failed to or cannot comply with any requirements as set forth in the plans, specifications, or any applicable statutes of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania or any applicable municipal ordinances. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty (60) calendar days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. Questions Due Date: Sep 5th 2024, 5:00 PM EDT All bidders shall comply with the Federal requirements for Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (P.L. 88-352); and with the State requirements for The Pennsylvania Steel Products Procurement Act (No. 1978-3) and the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act, as amended. Work under the aforementioned Contract is subject to the requirements and of the "Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act" (1961 August 15, PL 987;P.S.165) and subsequent amendments and the Public Works Verification Act (Act 127 of 2012) and subsequent amendments. All Contractors submitting bids may be required to submit a listing of past experience of similar work verifying themselves as qualified for this type of project. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
