Hospitality Lane, 2nd Floor San Bernardino, CA 92415-0450 (909)386-8846 Phone (909)386-8839 Fax Allison.Cordova@sdd.sbcounty.gov SDDProcurement@sdd.sbcounty.gov Deadline for Submission of Questions 10:00 A.M., November 1, 2023 PROJECT DESCRIPTION Consultants shall provide professional construction management services for various County/District improvement or renovation projects on an as needed and as requested basis. Typical construction management services to accomplish all necessary work that could include, but is not limited to the following: 1. Construction Review - Review contract design plans as requested for constructability, consistency, and adherence to County/District Standards. Constructability review of the 100% Construction Document milestone. The Consultant shall review the Construction Documents to determine their adequacy and completeness of the project. Review shall consist of plans and specifications and consider information found in reference documents and geotechnical reports. The constructability review shall identify the risks including conflicts, errors and omissions that could impact cost, schedule, or quality of the work. Provide written comments in a formatted Excel spreadsheet (Multi-user web based constructability review system is preferred). 2. Assist in obtaining any necessary permits as required. 3. Coordinate construction activities with other County/District departments, utilities, and municipalities for the duration of any project. 4. Provide onsite owner's representation services for all phases throughout project lifecycle. 5. Provide program advisory and program management services for projects or multiple projects throughout the project portfolio. 6. Attend pre-construction conferences if required. 7. Visit sites as required during the construction period. 8. Attend requested meetings. 9. Review shop drawings as directed by the Department. 10. Review the construction schedule as directed by the Department. 11. Prepare drawings and estimates for any required field change as requested. 12. Provide resident inspection services if requested. 13. Assist Department in project closeout. 14. Coordinate with any Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) for approval. 15. Coordinate with inspectors. 16. Manage project to approved project schedule. 17. Manage project to approved project budget. 18. Manage project to approved project scope. 19. Provide quality assurance. 20. Review change orders. 21. Review RFI's, submittals, etc. 22. Assist or manage bidding of project as needed. 23. Provide weekly and/or monthly project status reports. 24. Provide and manage design schedule. 25. Provide complete design packages with no deferred approvals.
