a .Remove and dispose of debris collected during the cleaning. b. Comply with all applicable state and local laws and ordinances related to the hauling, handling, and disposal of materials. c. Clean the work site daily of all debris, nails, et cetera. d. Clean the entire area "sweep" it with a magnet to remove nails on ground (at the end of the project). e. Remove all roofing debris and nails from the gutters. This solicitation s goal is to contract with a supplier to replace the existing roofs on certain buildings at KCDC s sites known as Passport Residences (in the Mechanicsville area). The supplier shall furnish all labor, materials and equipment, the supplier shall perform all work to re-roof the identified structures as detailed herein. A bid bond from each supplier equivalent to 5% of the bid price. Such bid bond must accompany the bid. Bid bonds will not be returned until a contract is signed. Performance and payment bonds for 100% of the contract price. Liquidated damages shall apply at $100.00 per calendar day for each day beyond the scheduled completion date and such provision shall be included in the contract for construction. However, KCDC will consider explanatory information if it provides a valid reason for delays in schedule. Suppliers must be properly licensed by the State of Tennessee and all other authorities having authority. Throughout the term of this contract, the supplier shall keep the required licensure. KCDC reserves the right to revise any insurance requirement, including but not limited to, limits, coverages, and endorsements based on changes in scope of work/specifications, insurance market conditions affecting the availability or affordability of coverage.
