Furnish and install a rust-free aluminum flat pan awning at the Brunswick Community Correction Alternative Program (BWCCAP) facility located at 1147 1037 Planters Road, Lawrenceville, VA 23868, in Brunswick County, VA The project is generally described as construction of (1) rust free aluminum flat pan awning cover structure that is brand name or equivalent to Ballew's Aluminum Products Inc., per the attached scope of work 1. Verify existing site conditions prior to ordering material. 2. Provide all material, labor, equipment, and incidentals to install an aluminum flat pan awning cover structure, in a color choice of cream or off-white color (NOT WHITE) to provide shelter from rain, hail, snow, and blistering heat, over the sidewalk, to be adjacent to and butt-up to the entry door. This aluminum flat pan awning gauge thickness shall be in accordance with the applicable building codes and standards per the State of Virginia's CPSM and shall meet any wind requirements, weight of snow fall, and include proper drainage from weather conditions such as rain. The size of the structure shall be twenty-one feet long by eight feet wide (21'L x 8'W) to go over the sidewalk that extends straight in front of the door toward the gate, with eight-foot (8') post to be set in concrete and include downspouts on each side of the concrete sidewalk on the end of the canopy opposite the entry door that tie into gutter system. The right side of the canopy may be supported with 3 posts (one on each end and one in center). The left side of the canopy shall be supported with 4 posts (one on each end and one on each side of the existing HVAC unit with one of each flange-mounted to the existing concrete sidewalk). 3. Construction shall comply with all applicable federal and state building, maintenance, accessibility, fire, and life safety codes. 4. Clean site and remove all related material and debris off site. A Bid Bond is not required.
