Water Filtration Plant Corrosion Control Chemical Systems Improvements Pre-Qualification: Yes The Work of this Contract is at the City of Oshkosh Water Filtration Plant (WFP) and generally described as: 1. Demolishing existing polyphosphate storage tanks and feed pumps, polymer pilot system, and associated piping. 2. Replacing two (2) existing sodium hydroxide (NaOH) pumps with two (2) larger-capacity and two (2) smaller-capacity units. 3. Installing a temporary phosphoric acid (H3PO4) storage and feed system. 4. Installing a new phosphoric acid storage and feed system in current polyphosphate area. 5. Removing sodium hydroxide and polyphosphate piping from exterior fill connection to storage tanks. 6. Installing sodium hydroxide and phosphoric acid piping from exterior fill connection to storage tanks. 7. Replacing existing chemical feed pump discharge piping with parallel piping from pumps to connection point of exterior underground piping in GAC pipe gallery, and from exterior underground piping to injection manifold in meter vault. 8. Connecting existing emergency eyewash/shower to existing tempered water system and installing new emergency eyewash/shower unit. See Official Notice to Contractors posted in Project Q&A.
