The St. Charles Park District will receive separate sealed bids for Asphalt Shingle Removal and Replacement. This project generally consists of but not limited to: All materials and labor to remove and replace asphalt shingles on multiple facilities at the St. Charles Park District. Specifications require the submittal of a 10% Bid Surety with the proposal. In addition, the successful contractor(s) must be able to provide a satisfactory Performance Bond, Labor and Material Payment Bond, and required proof of insurance following the award of a contract. The St. Charles Park District reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to accept any proposals which, in its judgment, will be to the best interest of the Park District. Only bids in compliance with the provisions of the specifications will be considered. All bidders must comply with the applicable Illinois Law requiring the payment of Kane County prevailing wages by all contractors working on public projects, and bidders must comply with the Illinois Statutory requirements regarding labor and bidding, including Equal Opportunity Laws.
