M/WBE's are encouraged to participate in the bid process. The City of Avon Park is seeking proposals, from qualified HVAC Contractors that have been in business at least five (5) years, to provide all necessary labor and material to remove and replace Air Conditioning equipment at the Avon Park Boys and Girls Club located at 207 State Street in Avon Park, FL 33825. The equipment to be replaced will include the following: 27.2 Two (2) 15-ton Air Handling Units that are located above the gym. These units will be 6,000 CFM Single Zone Air Handling Units, Built-Up, Constant Volume, Horizontal/Vertical, with Drawthrough Fans. 27.3 Four (4) 7.5-ton Air-Cooled Condensing Units with Compressor, Condenser, Fan and Motor. These units will be for the AHU's above the gym. 27.4 One (1) 1,200 CFM Single Zone Air Handling Unit, Built-Up, Constant Volume, Horizontal/Vertical, with Draw-through Fan. This unit will be for the classrooms. 27.5 One (1) 3-ton 14 SEER, Air-Cooled Condensing Unit, Pre-Charged with refrigerant capable of charging the system with a 20' length of piping. This unit will be for the classrooms' AHU. 27.6 One (1) 1,600 CFM Single Zone Air Handling Unit, Built-Up, Constant Volume, Horizontal/Vertical, with Draw-through fan. This unit will be for the office and entry area. 27.7 One (1) 4-ton, 14 SEER, Air-Cooled Condensing Unit, Pre-Charged with refrigerant capable of charging the system with a 20' length of piping. This unit will be for the office and entry area's AHU. 27.8 One (1) 2,000 CFM Single Zone Air Handling Unit, Built-Up, Constant Volume, Horizontal/Vertical, with Draw-through Fan. This Unit will be for the field house behind the main building. 27.9 One (1) 5-ton 14 SEER, Air-Cooled Condensing Unit, Pre-Charged with refrigerant capable of charging the system with a 20' length of piping.
