The City of Avon Park is seeking maintenance to ensure the City's water storage tanks are compliant with OSHA, NSF, and AWWA standards; the interior surfaces of each tank are sanitary, protected, and renovated accordingly. This RFP includes the following tanks: 27.1.1 one (1) 500,000-gallon Concrete Ground Storage Tank. 27.1.2 one (1) 160,000-gallon Concrete Ground Storage Tank. 27.1.3 one (1) 100,000-gallon Steel Ground Storage Tank. All questions shall be directed to Andy Mogle in wring and will be accepted as addenda until Friday, November 10, 2023, at 4:00 P.M. (EST) Bid Bond : Required for all construction projects over $150,000.00. Performance and Payment Bond : Required for all construction projects over $150,000.00. Liquidated Damages, Penalties, and Non-conformance to Contract (Not Applicable To This Project The contractor/vendor shall obtain all necessary permits and pay for same prior to commencement of work. The cost of such permits shall be included within the base bid, unless otherwise provided for in the bid forms or specifications. The contractor/vendor must have all licenses and certifications as required by Federal, State, City, County, or special agencies The failure of a Proposer to submit acknowledgment of any addendum that affects the proposal price(s) may be considered an irregularity and may be cause for rejection of the proposal. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, in whole or in part, for any reason whatsoever, to waive minor irregularities and technicalities, and to request resubmission. Also, the City reserves the right to accept all or any part of the proposal and to increase or decrease quantities to meet additional or reduced requirements of the City
