This request for quotes (RFQ) is submitted and available to qualified vendors for adding a guard station at the front entrance of Walker Valley High School. All bids must conform to the requirements presented in the Instructions to Bidders and Attachment A of this RFQ. To facilitate evaluation, all bids must be submitted on the form provided in this document as Attachment B. Bids not in conformity may be rejected. Additional brochures and descriptive material may be included. The Bradley County Board of Education reserves the right to use judgement factors in determining which proposal shall be in its best interest, and exercise of that judgement shall be binding upon all companies submitting bids. Bidders agree, by their signature appearing on the bid form, to the Board's right to be the final judge in the award of this bid. Any bid which does not comply with the bidding conditions and specifications shall be considered unacceptable. Vendor is required to provide materials for the completion of the following Guard Booth project: 8x6 Guard Booth (see concept drawing) prewired with HVAC unit, lighting, boom arm controls, outlets, and 18" roof overhangs. Overhangs will be constructed to accommodate security cameras and point to point wireless access. Windows: tinted safety glass 1/8" thick or standard with tinted vandal resistant laminate film. 12x9 Concrete platform (Guard Booth Base) with x4 Traffic Bollards (2 front 2 rear). Electrical supply ready: power access is available at site location Motorized Barrier arms with wiring to guard booth x2 (incoming and outgoing traffic) 8' to 10' arms (depending on space estimate). Front gate (Dependent on-site assessment from vendor, concerning power etc.) a. Construct: 42"L X 42"W X84"H brick columns with matching main building color b. Add heavy duty double swing gate (black) automatic opener arms with controls/remote control and emergency vehicle siren detector opener. Solar power options if possible. The gate will be fabricated by another vendor X2 12' sections. c. Gate control pad mounted to Left Brick column. d. If circumstances limit a powered gate, manual gate operation will be considered.
