Question Deadline 09/29/2023 at 5:00 PM PT For further information, contact Israel Gomez, Associate Engineer, at igomez@citybigbearlake.com or (909) 866-5831 x137 or submit questions on web site The work involves the demolition of three (3) buildings, one (1) sign, one (1) post, and one (1) concrete slab. The work shall include removal of the buildings, abandoning existing utility services, removing and hauling away all materials to an approved disposal site, backfilling, compacting, and grading using approved native soils and asphalt grinding provided by the City of Big Bear Lake. Payment for Initial Mobilization based on the lump sum provided in the Bid Form, which shall constitute full compensation for all such Work. No payment for Initial Mobilization will be made until all of the listed items have been completed to the satisfaction of the Engineer. The scope of the Work included under Initial Mobilization shall include, but shall not be limited to, the following principal items: 1. Obtaining and paying for all bonds, insurance, and permits. 2. Moving on to the Project site of all Contractor's plant and equipment required for the first month's operations. 3. Installing temporary construction power, wiring, and lighting facilities, as applicable. 4. Establishing fire protection system, as applicable. 5. Developing and installing a construction water supply, if applicable. 6. Providing and maintaining the field office trailers for the Contractor, if necessary, and the Engineer (if specified), complete, with all specified furnishings and utility services. 7. Providing on-site sanitary facilities and potable water facilities as specified per CalOSHA and these Contract Documents. 8. Furnishing, installing, and maintaining all storage buildings or sheds required for temporary storage of products, equipment, or materials that have not yet been installed in the Work. All such storage shall meet manufacturer's specified storage requirements, and the specific provisions of the specifications, including temperature and humidity control, if recommended by the manufacturer, and for all security. 9. Arranging for and erection of Contractor's work and storage yard. 10. Posting all OSHA required notices and establishment of safety programs per CalOSHA. 11. Full-time presence of Contractor's superintendent at the job site as required herein. 12. Submittal of Construction Schedule as required by the Contract Documents.
