As of October 26,2023, project did not happen. This will rebid but no definite date. The Project consists of the following major items: A. Contract I, General 1. Wastewater System Improvements a. Replacement of 2 manholes. b. Rehabilitation of 17 manholes. c. Repair of 4 manholes. d. Point repairs of 3 manholes. e. Pump station improvements for 5 pump stations. f. Miscellaneous appurtenances, construction entrances and erosion control methods. After Bids are opened, the Owner shall evaluate them in accordance with the methods and criteria set forth in the Instructions to Bidders. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all Bids. Unless all Bids are rejected, Award will be made to the lowest responsible Bidder, taking into consideration quality, performance and the time specified in the proposals for the performance of the Contract. This Project is expected to be funded at 100% of the total project cost of$1,645,000 including engineering and contingencies up to $1,645,000 which will be financed with federal money through a loan from the State of North Carolina's State Revolving Fund. Any amount exceeding $1,645,000 will be financed by the Owner. Any contract awarded under this Advertisement for Bids is expected to be funded in part by a loan or grant from the State of North Carolina. Neither the State or Federal Government nor any of their departments, agencies, or employees is or will be a party to this Advertisement for Bids or any resulting Contract. This procurement will be subject to State regulations. Any contract awarded under this Advertisement for Bids is expected is to departments, agencies, or employees is or will be a party to this Advertisement for Bids or any resulting Contract. Bidders must comply with the Presidents Executive Order Numbers 11246and 11375 which prohibit discrimination in employment regarding race, creed, color, sex, or national origin. Bidders shall provide certification of prior work under Executive Order11.426 (Equal Employment Opportunity) as amended. Bidders shall make positive efforts to use small and minority-owned businesses and woman business enterprises. The successful Bidders shall comply with 41 CFR 60-4, in regard to affirmative action, to ensure equal opportunity to females and minorities and will apply the timetables and goals set for thin 41 CFR 60-4, if applicable. Bidders must comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Anti-Kickback Act, and the Contract Work Hours Standard Act. This contract will be funded in whole or in part using funds from Clean Water and / or Drinking Water State Revolving Funds. As such, the special provisions concerning the American Iron and Steel(AIS) requirements as noted in the Instruction to Bidders and Supplementary Conditions shall be required for this contract.
