The Project is to complete the improvements to the Henderson-Vance Industrial Park, Phase III Expansion including the installation of approximately 2,700 FT of new asphalt pavement to be installed on an existing stone base. The project also includes associated site work items including grading, drainage, and erosion control, pavement markings, signage and approximately 2,180 LF of 8" PVC sewer force main extension along Martin Creek Road connecting to an existing gravity sewer manhole. The U.S. Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration (EDA) is providing partial funding for this project (EDA Investment No. 04-01-07694). Upon Issuing Office's receipt of payment, printed Bidding Documents will be sent to the Bidder. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the prospective Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Bidding Documents also may be examined at Carolinas AGC / iSqFt,Data & Analytics, Construction Journal, Hispanic Contractors Association of the Carolinas; and the office of Vance County, on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 9:00 am and 3:30 pm; and the office of the Engineer, LKC Engineering, PLLC, on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 9:00 am and 3:30 pm. There is not a pre-bid conference for this project. Vance County is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Small businesses, minority owned businesses, HUB businesses and businesses owned by low and moderate income persons are encouraged to bid. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
