ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID WARE COUNTY, GEORGIA 2023 LMIG ROADWAY IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT NO. 20231018 Ware County Board of Commissioners is accepting sealed bids for furnishing all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and incidentals necessary for installation of 2023 LMIG Roadway Im- provements. Proposals may be mailed or delivered to the attention of Mr. Scott Moye, County Manager at the Ware County Board of Commissioners Office, 305 Oak Street, Suite 227, Waycross, Georgia 31501. Proposals received after the designated time will not be considered. Documents and Specifications are also on file for review at the Commission Office. All Bidders must purchase a bid package in order to be considered certified. Bids from non-certified Bidders will not be accepted. The Scope of Work Includes Pipe Replacement Asphalt & Concrete Milling, Widening, Deep Patching, Full-Depth Reclamation, Resurfacing, Shoulder Restoration, and Striping of approximately seven (7) miles of roadway at various locations within the county. All work on the project must be completed within 90 consecutive calendar days from the date of a Notice to Proceed. All proposals shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in favor of the Ware County Board of Commissioners in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the total bid for the complete work: such Bid Bond representing that the Bidder, if awarded a Contract, will promptly enter into a Contract and furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond. Performance Bond and Payment Bond shall each be equal to 100 percent (100%) of the Contract amount. All relevant Georgia Department of Transportation Standard Specifications shall be appli- cable to the project. Bidders shall submit all questions in writing to Brandon Wallace, Ware County Engineer, via email (bwallace@warecounty.com) or fax (912-287-4482). Deadline for all questions is Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at 5:00 p.m
