The City of Waycross is accepting proposals from Licensed contractors for the installation of industrial concrete coating for two (2) buildings at the Waycross Animal Shelter located at 1501 Blackwell Street, Waycross, Georgia. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive formalities and technicalities, to make an award in the best interest of the City and to make an award item by item unless otherwise stipulated by the bidder. Bidder must comply with all Federal, State and Local Laws. No bids will be accepted after bid opening time. No faxed or emailed bids will be accepted. Factors to be considered in making this award, if awarded, will be prices, quality, and references. The City will be the sole judge of the weights given these factors. Contractor must furnish all necessary electrical, labor, tools, equipment and supplies to perform the required services at this location. Contractor must have valid State Contractors License. Contractor must submit Insurance Certificate with quote including Workers Comp. if applicable. Contractor shall keep the premises clean of all rubbish and debris generated by the work involved. Detailed warranty must be included with bid proposal. Work must be completed within 45 days of award. Specifications Building #1 (Puppy House) Interior-921 sq. ft. Vertical -136 ln. ft. Prepare and profile existing substrate with planetary diamond grinder. Inspect concrete condition and moisture level to ensure adhesion. Apply polyurea base coat. Apply industrial concrete coating. Apply polyaspartic topcoat. Building #2 (Dog Run) Interior-3802 sq. ft. Prepare and profile existing substrate with planetary diamond grinder. Inspect concrete condition and moisture level to ensure adhesion. Apply polyurea base coat. Apply industrial concrete coating. Apply polyaspartic topcoat.
