The Project consists of removing an existing steel bridge and constructing a three-span steel beam bridge with an integral concrete deck. Project is located on Beckley Rd (TR 401), Morris Township, Knox County, Ohio. Document Notes : Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays (excluding holidays) between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office. All documents become property of the prospective bidder, with no portion of the payment being refunded. The Bid Package must be purchased from the above mentioned location to be considered a plan holder, receive Addenda, and be eligible to bid on the project. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bid guarantees must meet the requirements of the Ohio Revised Code, Section 153.54. All bidders must be ODOT prequalified. All bidders must meet an "EDGE" Goal of 5%. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable, use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of this project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor s Executive Order of 1972, and Governor's Executive Order 84-9 shall be required. This is a prevailing wage project and is subject to the requirements of Ohio Department of Commerce Wage and Hour Division and Chapter 4115 of the Ohio Revised Code. The County reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities. The Estimated Construction Cost Has Been Revised to $1,986,161.34
