Closing Time: 2:30 PM (NT) Question Acceptance Deadline 2023/10/05 02:00:00 PM ADT The project is located at the Marine Atlantic Ferry Terminal at Port aux Basques, Newfoundland and Labrador. The primary work area is within the Fuel Terminal Tank Farm located in a separate secure area north of the main ferry terminal facility. The work includes, but is not limited to, the following: Mobilization and demobilization, including all labor and equipment as specified and as required to carry out the work. Removal and disposal of the exterior insulation and cladding from the shell and roof assemblies. Removal and disposal of studs and hardware supporting the insulation and cladding. Studs are to be ground flush with the tank shell using coldwork. Overgrinding is to be prevented, Contractor to take care not to overgrind, as such will result in repairs being required to re-establish nominal steel thickness. Such repairs resulting from Contractor performance will not be considered for compensation under this Contract. Complete and API Standard 653 inspection and non-destructive examination (NDE) of the shell and roof plates. Inspections are to be carried out by a certified inspector. Provide a report indicating the results of these inspections. Submittals: Preparation, submission, and implementation of an approved Construction Schedule. Preparation, submission, and implementation of an approved Site-Specific Safety Plan. Preparation, submission and implementation of an approved Traffic Control and Pedestrian Plan. Preparation, submission, and implementation of an approved Site-Specific Environmental Protection Plan. Preparation, submission, and implementation of an approved Project Execution Methodology.
