Play area: o Provide an accessible play structure with at least 3.5" diameter steel uprights o Decks at various heights from two feet to eight feet. o A minimum of one tunnel link o A minimum of three slides at various heights o One free standing age-appropriate sign o At least 8 climbers of various challenges and heights. Climbers should not be duplicated. o A minimum of 4 panels of various challenges o A minimum of 6 ground level activities o A 8' high swing set with 4 swings including one toddler swing o Hexagon Modular Shade: 14' Diameter. (6) Column Extensions at O3.5" 11-GA. Rafters at O2.875" 12-GA with Glide Elbows General: o All playground equipment shall have the appropriate fall zones covered in a minimum depth of 9" (after compaction) of Engineered Wood Fiber safety surfacing. o The safety surfacing shall be retained by 12" high, interlocking, molded plastic border timbers. o Accessible border timber ramps must be provided at the appropriate areas so as to facilitate wheelchair entry into all bordered play areas. o Age-appropriate signage must be included and placed facing the primary playground entrance area. Qualifications: o Qualified contractors shall prove a continuous, exclusive representation partnership with the playground equipment manufacturer for a minimum of ten years. o The playground equipment manufacturer shall extend a warranty of the highest industry standard. o Contractor shall have an established presence in Georgia and be able to have a representative on site within 24 hours' notice, should that need arise. o The playground equipment installers shall be CPSI certified. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. $45,000 to $65,000.
