Remove and replace all edge coping around the perimeter ofthe roofwith new aluminum edge coping with Kynar finish as specified in the project documents. Inspect the condition ofthe existing wood blocking around the perimeter ofthe roof in coordination with the engineer. Remove and replace all deteriorated areas identified by the engineer prior to installation ofthe new roofing system if and where directed. Remove and replace existing roof drains with new roof drains including metal bowl and collar to match existing roofslope and conditions. Pre-manufactured drain sleeves will be considered in lieu ofreplacement, upon inspection. Provide all new flashing materials in accordance with manufacturer requirements for the designed roofing system. This includes all roof penetrations, edges, curbs, vent pipes, smoke vents, exhaust fans, roof drains, walls, etc. Furnish and install mechanical terminations in accordance with manufacturer requirements for the designed roofing system. The attached workshop section (higher roof) is not part ofthe project cost (see attached drawing). Remove and properly dispose ofthe existing roofing system complete down to the existing metal with light concrete roof deck. This includes complete removal of all roofing membranes, insulation and all flashing materials. Inspect the condition ofthe existing roof deck in coordination with the engineer. Repair all deteriorated areas identified by the engineer prior to installation ofthe new roofing system if and where directed.
