Significant items include approximate quantities: 23 CY CONCRETE FOUNDATION 338 SY BUILDING SLAB 8" THICK 78 SY CONCRETE APRON, 8" THICK 135 SY CONCRETE APRON, 6" THICK RESTORATION OF STONE PARKING AREA Upon request, the Engineer will furnish prospective bidders with Bid documents. Informational copies may be examined by others. The Owner will consider only those proposals received from parties who have obtained Bidding Documents directly from the Owner's Engineer. Bidding Documents are not transferable to other prime contractors for bidding purposes. Each proposal bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check for not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid, of which, the amount of the bond or certified check need not exceed $20,000, made payable to the Township of West Deptford. Consent of Surety and Power of Attorney is required for the Performance Bond. The successful bidder will be required to furnish, within ten (10) days after the award, a Surety Corporation Performance Bond or Letter of Credit equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. All applicable surety bonds or LOC required must be written by a surety company listed on the Federal Treasury List (Department Circular 570-Surety Companies Acceptable on Federal Bonds) and such surety company must be acceptable to the Township Administrator and authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey. All bids must be submitted on the bid form prepared in the specifications and sealed in an envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder on the outside and referencing the particular work bid upon. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, C.127, N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27-1 et seq. Each bid and shall be addressed to the West Deptford Township Clerk. The Township of West Deptford reserves the right to reject any and all bids, either in whole or in part and also to waive any informality in any bid or bids so received. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
