**As of October 27, 2023,bids were rejected.No definite date for the rebid.** The Scope of Work consists of Demolition of a single story mixed used building of approximately 18,800 SF plus a 6,300 SF basement. The basement demolition abuts Caltrans ROW, will require shoring (design provided by City) and installed by Bidder, and will require encroachment permitting from Caltrans. Backfilling the hole, compacting and resurfacing the area to create a parking lot: B. Demolition of a subterranean chiller approximately 1,200 SF in floor area. This portion of the work will require shoring designed and installed by the Bidder. Backfilling, compaction, resurfacing the area to create a parking area. The bidder must attach a pdf file to the electronic bid submission containing all of the completed and signed Bid Documents including a Bid Bond. Bidder must comply with SB854 - Public Works Contractor Registration Program. Bidder may begin bid process at any time prior to the bid deadline.
