The City of Ontario wishes to award a contract for installing a concrete slab at Homer F. Briggs Park. This contract shall include installation and site work as required to install a concrete slab for a Fitness Court Studio designed by the National Fitness Campaign (NFC) for the City of Ontario. The concrete slab should follow all specifications and dimensions set forth by NFC. A complete set of construction documents is included and required to be followed. This bid is for the installation of a concrete slab only. Installation/assembly of the Outdoor Fitness Court Studio equipment by others will be under a separate contract. The project includes, without limitation, furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and other incidental and appurtenant work necessary to satisfactorily complete the Project; it consists of and includes removal and disposal of grass, excavation and off haul of soil, forming and pouring Fitness Court Studio slab per the construction documents. The quantity of work to be performed and materials to be furnished are approximations only, being given as a basis for comparing Bids. Actual quantities of work to be performed may vary at the discretion of the City Engineer. All services/workmanship must meet or exceed industry standards. The contractor must comply with all local, state, and federal laws, including federal labor laws and wage decisions. The contractor must also adhere to all local permit requirements, if any. Warranty The contractor shall provide warranty information. If the work does not come with a warranty, the exception must be noted in the proposal.
