The project consistsof all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to remodel an existing classroom for TK/K students. The District plans for the project to be completed by October 1, 2024 or to benegotiated between district and contractor. To bid on this Project, the bidder is required to be registered asa public works contractor with the Department of Industrial Relations and possess one or more of the following State of California Contractor Licenses: B. The bidders registration and license(s) must remain active and in good standing throughoutthe term of the Contract. This is a prevailing wage project. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond if awarded the contract for the work. The successful bidder may substitute securities for any monies withheld by the District to ensure performance under the contract, in accordance with the provisions of Section 22300 of the 2019 California Public Contract Code. Bid Bond: An amount not less than 10 percent (10%) of the total bid dollar amount is required to be submitted with each bid. Question Period: Expires September 21, 2023 at 5p.m. The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/orwaive any irregularities in bids received. Unless otherwise required by law, no bidder may withdraw its bid for sixty (60) daysafter the date of the bid opening.
