Each bid must be prepared and submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and must be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a certified check, bank check, or bid bond in the amount of: General Work Contract D006144: $40,000.00, Forty Thousand Dollars and 00/100. Contract includes all work indicated in the drawings and specifications for General Contract #D006144 or "GC" including but not limited to all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the removal and installation of petroleum bulk storage tanks at 9 different parks and historic sites throughout the Central Region of NYS Parks. Demolition work includes the removal of 12 Convault style tanks and all appurtenances with new double walled steel tanks. Six sites will be reusing existing concrete pads for the new tanks and three sites will be relocating their existing fueling stations as noted on the drawings. Provide a Unit Price for the cost of 180 cy of rock removal. Engineer's Estimate Range: $735,250.00 - $994,750.00. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.MINORITY AND WOMEN-OWNED BUSINESS ENTERPRISE PARTICIPATION GOALS (MWBE) The following goals for MWBE participation on General Work Contract D006144 have been established at: Minority Owned Business Enterprise (MBE) 11 % Women Owned Business Enterprise (WBE) 1 % SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN OWNED BUSINESS (SDVOB) GOALS The following goals for SDVOB participation on this project have been established at: Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Business 0% Pursuant to Public Building Law 8(6), any contracts over $5,000 for the work of construction, reconstruction, alteration, repair, or improvement of any State building, a responsible and reliable NYS-certified Minority or Women-Owned Business Enterprise that submits a bid within ten percent of the lowest bid will be deemed the apparent low bidder provided that the bid is $1,579,361 or less (maximum amount has been adjusted for inflation effective January 1, 2023). If more than one responsible and reliable MWBE firm meets the requirements, the MWBE firm with lowest bid will be deemed the apparent low bidder. The completion date for this project is 365 Days after agreement has been approved by the NYS Comptroller's Office. PROJECT MILESTONES Anticipated Notice to Proceed: December 20, 2023.
