Question Deadline 09/13/2023 at 5:00 PM ET All Requests for Information should be written and submitted via web site within the "Clarifications" feature no later than Wednesday Central Intermediate Unit 10 hereby invites the electronic submission of sealed bids for the CIU 10 - 100 North 6th Street Project The Central Intermediate Unit 10 is seeking proposals for the demolition of interior finishes and equipment at 100 North 6 th Street, Philipsburg, PA as noted in drawings and specifications prepared by Hoffman Leakey Architects. The undersigned reserves the right to waive informalities or defects in a bid to the extent permitted under Pennsylvania Law and to reject any or all bids or parts thereof. Demolition and removal of wood flooring, wall pads, bleachers, HVAC equipment, ductwork, fixtures basketball goals, etc. The building is currently not connected to utility services, and it will be the contractor's responsibility to provide temporary electrical/lighting as needed to complete the work. This project is publicly funded and is subject to PA state prevailing wage rates. Scope of work o Remove hardwood gym floor and sleepers to concrete slab. Salvage 500 SF of flooring for owner use. o Remove and dispose of folding partition. o Remove and dispose of existing HVAC system: HVAC units, ductwork, radiators, piping, etc. Repair roof as needed to maintain water tight condition. o Remove and dispose of basketball goals, backboards, and rigging. o Remove and dispose of bleachers and associated hardware. o Remove and dispose of wall padding. o Remove and salvage scoreboards. Protect and turn scoreboards over to owner. o Remove and dispose of all existing exposed utility piping, electrical conduit and light fixtures. o Remove and salvage existing PA speakers and turn over to owner. o Adhere to ALL OSHA safety standards. o "Broom Clean" all surfaces and remove all residual debris at completion of project
