The Work to be constructed hereunder is at the Jessup Youth Sports Association complex, 1 Moosic Lake Road, Jessup, PA 18434, Lackawanna County. The Work comprises the installation of stormwater piping, an inlet and all appurtenances for a complete job and in accordance with these Contract Documents. Each Bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, negotiable U. S. Government Bonds (at par value) or approved Bid Bond in the amount of 10 percent of the total Bid Price, payable to Jessup Borough, as a guarantee that the Bidder, if its Bid is accepted, will promptly obtain the required Bonds and Insurance, prepare the required submittal documents and execute the Agreement. All Bids shall remain irrevocable for a period of 60 calendar days from the date of Bid opening. The successful Bidder will be required to post a Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the amount of the Bid price. A full set of Contract Documents can be emailed as a PDF. Email meganr@petersconsultants.com for an electronic copy. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates will apply to the project. The Borough of Jessup does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, nation origin, sex, religion, age, disability or familial status in employment or the provision of services. The Borough of Jessup reserves the right after opening bids to reject any part of or all bids and to waive any formalities, technical defects or irregularities in a bid.
