The Work comprises the installation of storm water inlets and manholes, storm water piping, boring under the Lackawanna River Heritage Trail, and construction of an outfall into the Lackawanna River. THIS PROJECT WILL NOT BE AWARDED UNTIL ALL GOVERNMENTAL AGENCIES APPROVALS HAVE BEEN RECEIVED. The Work to be constructed hereunder is located within a portion of Filbert St; Winthrop Street from Filbert Street to Winton Road; Winton Road from Winthrop Street to the Lackawanna River within the Borough of Jessup, Lackawanna County, PA. The Work comprises the installation of stormwater inlets and manholes, stormwater piping, boring under the Lackawanna River Heritage Trail, construction of an outfall into the Lackawanna River and all appurtenances for a complete job and in accordance with these Contract Documents. Each Bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, negotiable U. S. Government Bonds (at par value) or approved Bid Bond in the amount of 10 percent of the total Bid Price, payable to Jessup Borough, as a guarantee that the Bidder, if its Bid is accepted, will promptly obtain the required Bonds and Insurance, prepare the required submittal documents and execute the Agreement. All Bids shall remain irrevocable for a period of 60 calendar days from the date of Bid opening. The successful Bidder will be required to post a Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the amount of the Bid price. Bids shall be submitted upon forms furnished by the Borough of Jessup.
