The Robeson Township Municipal Authority, Berks County, PA will receive sealed bids for the Removal, Hauling, and Disposal of Biosolids from Beds #1 and #2 at the Robeson Township Municipal Authority Wastewater Treatment Plan. All bidders must submit bid security in the amount often percent (10%). The successful bidder (Contractor) will be required to execute the Agreement and to furnish a "Performance Bond" on the respective forms provided in the Contract Documents. The Contractor also will be required to furnish evidence of insurance coverage as required by the Contract Documents. Bidders should refer to provisions of federal and state statutes, rules and regulations dealing with prevention of environmental pollution and the preservation of public, natural resources that affect the project. Any BID received after the time and date specified shall not be considered. No BID may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the above specified date for receiving, opening, and reading of BIDS, except as specifically provided by law. The Robeson Township Municipal Authority reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all Bids, and to delete any item or portion of an item without affecting the bids on the remaining items or portion of items. The above invitation to Bidders is made for the benefit of the Robeson Township Municipal Authority, Berks County, PA and no rights shall be deemed to accrue to any person making a Bid by reason of the submission of any bid hereunder or by waiver or non-enforcement of any provision of requirement of this invitation. Any BID may be withdrawn prior to the above scheduled time for the opening of BIDS or authorized postponement thereof.
