DCCC New Southeast Campus Awards have been made to the following companies: GC – Ernest Bock PC – Jay R Reynolds HVAC – Allstates Mechanical EC – Philips Brothers Separate sealed bids will be received for the following: Prime Contract :Bid Security Required General Construction :10% of Bid Electrical Construction :10% of Bid Mechanical Construction:10% of Bid Plumbing Construction 10% of Bid This project is subject to a Responsible Contractor Policy. This policy is available for review by request at the office of the Architect. Send requests to smf@marottamain.com. Bid security must be in the form of a Bid Bond, Certified Check, Bank Cashiers Check or Trust Companys Treasurers Check made payable to Delaware County Community College. In addition, an Agreement of Surety, Non-Collusion Affidavit form and Contractors Qualification Statement must be submitted with all bids. Award of the Contracts will be made on or around 18 October, 2023. Work will begin immediately thereafter. The estimated base bid construction value of this project is approximately $62,000,000. The project includes New Construction, Renovations of Existing Structure, Demolition and Sitework. Guaranty Bonds in the form of a Performance Bond, Labor and Materials Bond and a Maintenance Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the bid will be required within ten (10) days of receipt of Delaware County Community College intent to award the Contracts. All questions should be addressed in the form of an email to Tony DeLuca (tdeluca@dccc.edu) and Carl Kowalski (cjk@marottamain.com). Phone calls will not be returned. Questions will be answered via Addendum. Bidders shall refer to provisions of Federal and State Statutes, Rules and Regulations dealing with the prevention of environmental pollution and the preservation of public, natural resources that affect the project, said provisions being submitted as part of the Specifications pursuant to Act No. 247 of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, approved October 26, 1972. This project is a public works project and is subject to applicable provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act and other applicable Acts. Delaware County Community College reserves the right to reject any or all bids, parts thereof, or items therein, and to waive any defects or irregularities in bids and bid securities, as may be deemed to be in its best interests. No Bidder may withdraw its bid within sixty (60) days after the actual opening of bids.
