The Facility 11130 Rehabilitation project involves the repair of an existing 8,125 square foot building that was damaged throughout time and during the 2019 earthquakes. The repair will require a full building renovation. The project scope was derived using UFC 2-000-05N and stakeholder interviews that were held in June 2023. It is supported by DD Form 1391C and, therefore, cannot exceed its repair budget. The remodeled facility will provide space for offices, conference room (Inert Weapons Collaboration Room) and an access-controlled work area for the tenant's IT group. The rehabilitated facility will include presentation/display areas, work, and storage areas with the Inert Weapons Components Room. The project requires exterior and interior selective demolition of architectural and structural systems. Most mechanical and electrical systems will be fully demolished and replaced. It includes site preparation, earthwork, parking, landscaping, fencing, concrete pads, and mechanical and electrical utilities including communications. The project is a Design/Build. The project is subject to prevailing wage and the Buy American Act. Building 11130 is a contributing element of the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) eligible China Lake Pilot Plant Historic District. There are 3 Options on this project.
